Joy!

Sometimes in life you procrastinate and dream so much that you convince yourself that your will never reach your destination. Sometimes you realise in life that you are not in control and that the dream may become a reality. It is in these times when you get closer to a goal that you thought you may never achieve, that you need to step outside of the box and be thankful. It is at these times when you get news you had felt would never come, that you actually experience joy! It is during these times when you feel that someone has been listening to your prayers that you get closer to tears of joy!

It doesn’t rain!!

Sometimes in life you hear the great phrase, “It doesn’t rain till it pours”, and sometimes you catch the classic, “Buses come in threes”. (Now these Phrases will probably set the meteorological and logistical nerds into a precipitation frenzy! I can see them now charting phase diagrams!).

Today I was having a chat with a friend who it seems is just getting battered from all fronts, even Michael Fish would spot these pressure streams!

No matter where they turn something else just appears and bites them in the ass! It is as if they went for a swim in a local pool and ended up in a billabong in Daintree with Agro and his close associates! (Yes that is Agro below!)

While having a chat with them and struggling whilst trying not to be a halfwit, I remembered another friend who reminds me of the flipside. He once told me one of his favourite things to do back home in India is ride his motorbike on the first day of monsoon season. I remember the look in his eyes as he graphically explained the joy that the smell of mud and rain brought to him.

I suppose some of us need to learn, when we think it is monsoon season it may be only drizzle!
